Who we are, where we come from, and where we're headed as a church family
God@Work Church cares about one thing more than anything else, that is Honouring Jesus Christ. God@Work Church is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus and living in His Spirit . We simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
The seeds for God@Work were sown in early 2003 when a number of Christians headed by an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God pursued God’s vision to start a new church.
God@Work was established in 2004 and the inaugural service was held on February 1st 2004 at the Plaza Hotel, Beach Road with over 200 guests and friends attending. The church’s dedication service, conducted by the Assemblies of God General Superintendent, in March 2004 established the church as a bone fide church under the umbrella and guidance of the Assemblies of God.
The mission statement of the church is BRING THEM IN, BUILD THEM UP and SEND THEM OUT
It is a registered charity and society in Singapore.
The church moved to its current location at Penhas Road, by God’s grace, in June 2006.
The church holds its weekly service on Sunday mornings and started an afternoon English/Tagalog service in October 2011.
What's the bottom line? More than ever, God@Work Church is committed to fostering a family built around hope, love and freedom in Spirit. And as we move forward as a church, we want everyone to value relationship with God and others. To be an instrument of Love, Hope and Strength as we extend His Kingdom by making disciples in fulfilling of the great commission.
